The "Dreams Way" project was created with the purpose of helping "Brigadoon Explorers" and "Dreams" Foundations, which are active in organizing various activities for people affected by A/S and autism. Further informations about these Foundations can be found here: http://soj-sldreams.blogspot.it/

The agency is present in Second Life with an active avatar: Golda Stein.
All proceeds from the event will be payed on a cashier avatar named "Dreamsway Resident" created by founder of Dreams Way, Shanty Bookmite. Once the event ends all the incomes will be devolved to Golda Stein through an SL transaction.
For greater transparency, Shanty Bookmite will post on the blog (http://dreams-way-sl.blogspot.it/) a record of every transaction to Dreamsway Resident as well as the final transaction to Golda Stein. Each participant to the event will be able to verify the amount of each transaction and that all the proceeds will be devolved to the avatar representing the Foundations, Golda Stein.

Our goal is to get fashion Designers, Photographers and Fashion Agencies involved in organizing a big charity event to raise funds for Brigadoon Explorers and Dreams.
The event will take place from November ,11th till November, 30th, in a sim specially created for the event, which includes a shopping district and an area for fashion shows.
Our catwalk will host 7 Fashion Shows organized by 7 Agencies that will join the project showcasing creations from participating Designers.

A big Charity Auction will close the event: your skills will be sold to the highest bidder!

"A Dream Within..." is a charity event for Crohn's and Colitis UK (info: http://www.crohnsandcolitis.org.uk/) and is inspired by Edgar Allan Poe.

Why
Crohn's and Colitis UK? Crohn's Disease is a treatable illness, but not
curable, also the cause is still unknown. Many people have never even
heard of this illness, but with time the symptoms and side effects of
Crohn's will get worse (anaemia, short bowel syndrome, malnutrition,
DVT... etc the list is going on and on), and it sometimes gets life
threatening.
With the growing number of patients diagnosed each year
it is vital that the research towards this illness is well funded, that
soon they will finally find a cure so future patients will not have to
face the huge impact of Crohn's on their lives.

Why Poe? I just
simply find E. A. Poe very inspiring. There is no other like him. Each
designer was assigned to a different verse/part of one of Poe's poems
and was asked to interpret it into a creation, a visual composition of
theirs.

50% of the income of each design will go to Crohn's and Colitis UK, but there will also be donation boxes dotted around.

The event will start with a little fashion show on 9th of November 1PM SLT and will run for a whole week at Azure Island (Finesmith)

2Lei is a collaborative SL project to raise awareness and funds
related to the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence
against Women”. Violator and other SL Groups are joining to support  the
United Nations backed initiative that calls November 25th the
“International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women“.

Since 2010, this event organized by the committee 2Lei  has gained
great support within the SL community. for information about the group: http://secondlife2lei.blogspot.it/p/blog-page_24.html. There is a call to action for SL artists and creators to donate to this cause to raise funds for violence against women.

This year the organizers are looking for SL artists and creators to
once again donate artwork to be auctioned off with the proceeds  from
the auction to be donated to the United Nations Foundation Fund for UN
Women.

The Violator Sim will have  a  showing of  artwork to be auctioned
off  in coordination with the designer auction with their sister SIM in
the Salimar Luxury District.

The theme of this charity event is Freedom, following the free
assignment of the song “Libera” by the singer-songwriter Fabio Tettoni http://secondlife2lei.blogspot.it/2013/09/libera-by-fabio-tettoni.html.
Obviously, the interpretation of the topic is free, but organizers hope
it will be viewed in a positive way and will lead to the fulfillment of
events featuring examples, issues, projects and paths about women’s
liberation from various kinds of violence. Organizers ask that  artists
share their interpretation of freedom as part of the event and auction.

later than October 20, 2013 to reserve your space on the Violator

In october 2013, Mimmi Boa and Ellendir Khandr wanna support the
campaign to collect signatures to Stop Vivisection, 2013, by making
known this initiative to the people of Second Life. The campaign will
finish on October 31, 2013.

your group – Take a picture of your self , of your friends, of your
animals , or of what do you think is your NO TO VIVISECTION and add the

We are really glad to inform you that 2Lei is going to take part of the celebrations for Second Life 10th birthday, from Sunday, June 16th until June 29th, featuring events, art installations, music and entertainment (and just a hint of lag), completely built up around the theme of this year: "Looking forward, looking back".

The aim of 2Lei Committee, which have been operating in SL for three years, is to raise awareness and involve more and more people on matters related to violence against women in the world.

With our participation, we would like to show what it's possible to do in SL as far as social issues are concerned, fully adhering to various types of events, as it has been done throughout these years, from art to music, from theatre to fashion (Looking back).

The "2Lei" Committee also wants to emphasize how much more you can do to raise awareness and to disseminate the issue "Stop violence against women" in SL, involving more and more users of our virtual world to join in this global "fight" (Looking forward).

Specifically, the installation will be divided into three main sections:

- the first one will show what has been done in the recent years through various photographs;

- the second one will provide an INFO point;

- the third one will show "In flight over the violence", an art installation by Paola Mills. Visitors will be able to interact with this installation: they can become part of it, using poseballs and outfits available for free, to feel even more part of this project.

We invite you to come and celebrate with us, from 16/06 to 29/06.
